I hope you all have a wonderful day. Enjoy it. Monday I did filter maintenance and then yesterday I did water changes. Now everyone is happy and don't their fish things.
I don't clean my filters that much. I usually check them every 2 weeks, then if they need to be cleaned, I clean only the sponge and the ceramic rings. That is it. The way I do that is by taking a bucket, getting some of their water from their tank and cleaning the sponge and ceramic rings off in the bucket. I been doing this for years, never had any issues.
Water changes, I do 25 percent water change every week. I don't completely get all the algae off. It works.
Today, going to do a few things around the house and then get ready to work on some things for our website and forums.
